Anti-corruption and Bribery Policy

About this policy

ProMaterial has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We are committed to conducting business honestly, fairly, and with integrity in all locations and all business relationships.

Breaches may result in disciplinary action (including dismissal for gross misconduct) and may lead to immediate termination of contracts with non-employees.

What is bribery

A bribe is any financial or other advantage intended to induce or reward improper performance. Bribes can include money, gifts, loans, fees, hospitality, services, discounts, or contract awards.

• Offering, promising, giving, requesting, or accepting a bribe is prohibited.
• Facilitation payments and kickbacks are prohibited.
• Retaliation against a person who refuses bribery or reports concerns is prohibited.

Gifts and hospitality

• Reasonable and proportionate hospitality may be acceptable for legitimate business purposes.
• Hospitality or gifts must never be lavish, secretive, or intended to secure improper advantage.
• Cash or cash-equivalent gifts are not permitted.
• Gifts should be given in the company name, not personal name.

Record-keeping

• All gifts and hospitality given or received must be declared and recorded.
• Expense claims must state legitimate business purpose with accurate supporting records.
• Off-book accounts or incomplete records are strictly prohibited.

How to raise a concern

If you are offered a bribe, asked to make one, or suspect misconduct, report it to your manager or company leadership as soon as possible.
